I had rhinoplasty at the hospital group yesterday and have left looking like jacko. I asked for the tip to be 'slightly' refined and turned up but I look like somthing from a horror movie and the bit between my nostrils is slanted up too instead of tapering downwards as it should. Is this normal a day after surgery or is it likely to stay like this? I'm horrified and scared to even look in the mirror. Also, the distance between my nose and top lip is now way too long!

I wouldn't panic yet, most of what you are seeing is probably swelling. If you still feel like this after a couple of weeks then get in touch with your consultant.
