RE: Harley Medical Group?

Hi,

I have just used the Harley Medical Group in Birmingham and had the operation in London last week (18th March). All the staff have been fantastic and I can definately recommend them. My Surgeon was Dr Malik.
I had the under the muscle surgery which I must be honest am finding very painful. I'm on 2 weeks off work which if you have it done this way you will most certainly need. I was a size UK 6/8 32A and went to a hopeful 32C (this is the target once the swelling has gone down). It is hoped this method will look more natural, especially as I had very little breast tissue to work with to start with.

If you do your research and follow the surgeon's advice I am sure everything will go really well.

I am still doing research regarding a medical group.
The best choice so far points to transform cosmetic surgery, anyone has had any good/bad experience with them?

Thanks,

I didn't know if to have overs or unders either, but your surgeon should be able to advise you best. They have to take into consideration a number of factors.
I ended up having overs and was pleased as I have heard recovery time can be longer with unders but it's all down to what is best for you.

I might look into having a consultation at Harley medical because they have just opened a new clinic in Essex, so would be much easier.
Re under of over the muscle, I think it depends on which surgeon you use and your body. I have heard that under muscle can be painful but that it just the opinion of one of my friends, not gospel!!
If you need a lift then over the muscle is supposed to be better and less recovery time too. :D

Dear all

Apologies for posting on this site - the last thing I want to do is offend anyone so please accept my sincerest apologies if that's the case.

However, I am a freelance writer and I have been asked by a leading women's magazine to examine the issue of plastic surgery and the emotional reasons behind their decision.

Consequently, I wondered if anyne would be willing to share their story, and in turn I can promise you that if you would be interested in finding out more I wil not only ensure you are treated with sensitivity and respect but also compensated for your time and effort.

If you are at all interested please email me at fiona_ford@hotmail.com.

Under or over the muscle?

Hi all,

Have done lots of "googling" on this subject... Still can't make up my mind. I'm 5' 11" tall, size 12/14 and have a rather small 36b/38a chest. Going under the muscle seems to be the one to go for if one has little or no natural breast tissue....... I, have some breast tissue so perhaps would opt for the "over the muscle" procedure. But I hear they don't look as natural and have a higher risk of capsule contracture than the under the muscle. Under the muscle then apparently gets a bit distorted looking if you are flexing your chest muscles etc (not that I'd be doing much flexing I can tell you!!) I have seen before and after pictures of both procedures..... Not much difference to be honest. Breast tissue is naturally OVER the muscle......Shouldn't this be where the implant goes??! Sorry about rambling.... I'm genuinely at a loss........ Which honestly is the better option? Any answers or comments most welcome!! X
